Treasure Hunting
Logs recovered from rivers are remnants of an era gone by. These
giant trees were transported by floating them down a river all the way
along the east coast. Some trees sank, leaving a treasure beneath the
surface of the water. These logs were recently dredged from the
Savannah River.
Though the exterior surface of these ancient trees appear to have a less
than attractive surface, Ramsey knows that a little work will uncover the
true depth and beauty of these uncut logs.

Historic homes that cannot be restored in place or moved to a new
location are carefully de-constructed, the beams and timbers carefully
restored for use in other projects such as new construction or renovation.
